Refund policy

90-Day Easy Return & Refund Period: Customers who have purchased products from FoodCycler via www.foodcycler.com after 12:01am on July 22nd 2024, may request a return label and full refund for any reason within the first 90 days of the delivery of your initial order. All requests for refunds must be processed by the Customer Support Team at support@foodcycler.com. Units returned without prior authorization from the Customer Support Team will not be refunded. 
The refund will be issued once the returning item has been received and inspected by FoodCycler®. Please be advised that refunds made to credit cards may take a while to process and appear in your account. 

Product Replacements: FoodCycler will provide a replacement product for any Warrantied items purchased directly from FoodCycler at www.foodcycler.com if the item is deemed defective within the Warranty Period by the FoodCycler Customer Support Team. FoodCycler will provide a return shipping label for the defective product, and cover the cost of shipping the replacement product to the customer. Once the defective product has been received and inspected, the Customer Support Team will provide shipment confirmation of the replacement unit of the defective product's receipt. 

Refunds: Only products purchased from the FoodCycler website, www.foodcycler.com, directly within the 90-Day Easy Return & Refund window are applicable for a full refund. Refunds will be processed to the original method of purchase. Please be advised that refunds made to credit cards may take a while to process and to appear in your account. 

Products purchased through Vitamix 

For customers who have purchased a FoodCycler® unit, FoodCycler® by Vitamix unit, or FoodCycler® accessory through Vitamix Corporation, please note the following:

Transition of Support:
Effective January 1, 2025, all shipping inquiries, warranty claims, returns, and replacements for these products are now handled directly by FoodCycle Science.

Warranty Coverage:
The warranty period remains unchanged from the original terms provided by Vitamix at the time of purchase. FoodCycle Science will honor the remainder of the warranty period.

For example, if a unit was purchased on October 31st, 2023 with a three-year warranty, the warranty will expire in October 30th, 2026.

Proof of Purchase:
Customers must provide proof of purchase (e.g., receipt, invoice) to validate warranty claims. Warranty service cannot be guaranteed without valid proof of purchase.

Returns & Refunds

Refunds

  • Refunds for FoodCycler products purchased through Vitamix will be processed exclusively by Vitamix in accordance with their original return policy.
  • Refunds are only available within 60 days of purchase.
  • After 60 days, no refunds will be issued.

Returns

  • Returns must comply with Vitamix’s 60-day return policy.
  • Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs.

Replacements

  • Products eligible for replacement under warranty will be covered by Food Cycle Science, including the cost of shipping, once the issue has been evaluated and confirmed.
  • Customers are required to provide clear photos or video evidence of the issue to facilitate the evaluation process.
  • Food Cycle Science reserves the right to determine whether a replacement is warranted based on the provided evidence and warranty terms.

Shipping Fees:

  • For warranty-related replacements, a pre-paid shipping label will be provided.
  • For non-warranty claims, customers are responsible for shipping fees.

Products purchased through Amazon

Products purchased through Amazon must be sold directly by either the official Food Cycler Amazon Store or the Vitamix Amazon Store to be eligible for warranty support or service from Food Cycle Science. Purchases made through third-party sellers on Amazon that are not authorized resellers are not covered under our warranty policy and may not be eligible for support.
