I am not going to lie. I was skeptical on how this would actually work and if it would be worthwhile.
I can say that my opinion has been radically altered just after having used the product in the short time I have had it. We fill the bucket once a day with food scraps and when we wake up in the morning, we have dirt!

How does the FoodCycler work?
The FoodCycler® food waste recycler greatly reduces food waste volume, odors, liquids, bacteria and methane gasses that would otherwise be generated by putting your food waste in the trash.
The FoodCycler uses a multi-phase cycle which aerates and pulverizes food waste to a fine, dry, odourless powder which can be used in gardening applications.

Is the FoodCycler safe for kids?
Yes, the FoodCycler is safe to have in homes with children, much like any small kitchen appliance such as a toaster or air fryer. As with all appliances, it should be used under adult supervision, and we recommend keeping it out of reach of young children when in operation.
One important safety note for all users: the blades inside the bucket are very sharp. Avoid reaching into the bucket with your hands, especially when cleaning or emptying it. Always handle the unit with care and follow the instructions in the user guide.
During operation, the unit and internal components can become very hot. For safety, do not disturb the cycle, open the lid, or remove the bucket while the unit is running. Only open the lid or handle the bucket once the cycle is complete, the cooling phase has finished, and all indicator lights have turned off — signaling that it is safe to approach, and the bucket is cool enough to handle.
The Foodilizer — the by-product of the processed food waste at the end of the cycle — is completely safe to touch and handle once the bucket has cooled. It can be stored in a sealed container in a dry place, used as a soil amendment for gardening, or disposed of responsibly.
What can I do with the by-product (Foodilizer)?
We call the by-product Foodilizer—a light, dry, nearly bacteria-free nutrient-rich soil amendment which can be used in gardening applications. Here's what you can do with it:
Add it to your compost
You can also dispose the Foodilizer in the garbage. Even if you toss it, Foodilizer is much easier on landfills.
Feed Your Garden
Mix Foodilizer into your soil (1:10 ratio; 1:20 for meat/dairy-heavy waste). Your plants will thank you!
Give it to Others
Donate your Foodilizer to local farmers, community gardens, or garden centers.
