What food waste can the FC-75 process?

What kind of space or installation does the FC-75 need?
The FC-75 industrial food waste grinder should be placed on a level, stable surface in a temperature-controlled area. It requires a standard power outlet, enough ventilation for heat and airflow, and the included drain hose must be able to reach a nearby drainage point such as a floor drain, wall drain, or utility sink.
No hard plumbing installation is needed beyond attaching the drain hose and placing it into a proper drain.
How is the carbon filter changed?
The carbon filter in our industrial food shredder is simple to replace: Remove the old one, insert the new one, and close the panel. No tools are required. Most sites replace the filter every 3–6 months, depending on usage and odor sensitivity.
Can the FC-75 process greasy food waste?
Yes. Greasy or oily foods can be processed by our commercial food waste recycling machine, but for best results they should be mixed with dry material such as coffee grounds, bread, eggshells, or dry by-product from a previous cycle. Using the included FoodCycler enzyme additive also helps break down fats and improves processing.
Can the bucket be cleaned in a dishwasher?
No. The bucket is not dishwasher-safe. High heat and detergents can warp or damage it. The bucket should be removed from the industrial food shredder and rinsed by hand with warm water and cleaned using a soft cloth or non-abrasive sponge.
What can the by-product be used for?
The FC-75 industrial food waste grinder produces a dry material called Foodilizer®, which can be blended into soil as a soil amendment for gardens, landscaping, or green spaces. Always follow local regulations on soil additives for your site.
